Video Tape to DVD
We can take your old VHS, VHS-c, s-VHC, betamax, Hi-8, MiniDv tapes or 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm film and transfer the footage onto a dvd or usb key. Our highly qualified professionals take pride in immortalizing your precious video footage so that it can easily be viewed for years to come.
According to Industry Professionals, a DVD disc will last for up to 100 years. A typical video tape recording can last as long as 30 years, however, the image and sound quality of your tape diminishes a little each year due to heat, humidity or just the passing of time. Therefore, it is important to transfer your precious video tapes to a more permanent storage medium such as DVD before they degrade to the point of no longer being transferable.
There is a 2-hour maximum per DVD. Any additional footage will be put onto a separate DVD and charged as a separate transfer. No Copywritten material will be transferred. This includes Professional Motion Pictures and home- recorded television shows or movies.

Keep your memories alive for years to come.
The Camera Company’s Professional Video Transfer Service can copy all your 8mm, Super 8mm or 16mm movies to DVD. We will handle your order as if it is our own and give your memories the utmost care that they deserve.
We use state of the art transfer equipment that uses Safe scan technology to help keep your movies safe. Safe scan technology uses a precision bronze gate so it handles the film by the edges for maximum safety and zero image area contact. The high resolution 24 bit camera uses a specialized cool LED light source not a hot projection bulb to protect your film from heat.
Your film is captured frame-by-frame, these individual frames are then put into our software that converts the frames into a movie, resulting in a smooth, flicker-free capture. This process produces a higher-quality transfer and you will not lose anything from your original film. About 1500’ will fit on a DVD.
We can also convert your movie reels to an editable file format. We will transfer full quality uncompressed .mov files from your 8mm and Super8 reels to a USB 3.0 Flash Drive or External Hard Drive. 200’ of film is approximately 4gb in size!
